Majestic Star Casinos has announced two additions to its boats, encouraged by the record profits from last month bets. The gambling complex will soon have a new Asian-themed baccarat room, to be used solely for baccarat games, and a new spectacular steakhouse.

David Schugar, Vice President and General Manager of Majestic Star, explained that the company decided to add the baccarat room because the card game has become one of the most popular games among regulars. Since the room is mainly aimed to an Asian clientele, players at the baccarat room will be offered a complimentary Asian-themed buffet.

“One of the reasons baccarat has become so popular is because of its relatively good returns,” Schugar explained. “Casinos have a 2 to 3 percent advantage over the player in baccarat, compared with the 5.26 percent advantage in roulette.”

The baccarat facility will feature 10 tables with wagers ranging from $10 to $50,000 and a private room. The opening ceremony will take place on 21st May.
